My website layout changed after the translation

It may be because your content is inline HTML, like <span>Hello<span>World</span></span>. Therefore, Linguise consider it as an inline content, and tries to apply the correct span tags in the translation where the terms may not be at the same position.  It can then render tags a bit differently than it was at first.  If you rely on it for your positioning, it may change how it’s displayed.  There are two options to fix it:

  • You update the original content to block elements where you visually want block elements (replace some spans with div of p)
  • You can add a rule to force this part to not be translated as inline content and translate each tag separately
