Linguise fair usage information

Fair Usage Policy

Our automated translation service operates on a powerful shared server infrastructure, which means that server resources are shared among all users but still maintain a high performance. While we strive to provide the best possible service to all of our customers, we have limited resources and must ensure fair usage for all. To ensure that all users have equal access to server resources, we have implemented a Fair Usage Policy.

This policy is designed to prevent any single user from monopolizing server resources, which could negatively impact the performance of the service for other users. Monopolizing excessive server resources is related to the unlimited plans only and defined by:

  • An excessive multilingual page hits, over 100 000 multilingual page hits per 24 hours regularly
  • An excessive usage of storage
  • Engaging in excessive translation usage, which refers to the translation of more than millions of words within a short time frame.

Accounts limitation

Accounts that are found to be consuming an excessive amount of server capacity, as determined at our sole discretion, may be subject to throttling or other limitations to ensure fair usage for all.

If you require higher levels of service than our standard plans provide, we offer VIPs plans that are specifically designed for customers with high usage demands. The VIP plans provide higher server capacity and are priced higher than our standard plans, but we believe that it is a fair reflection of the increased resources that your account requires. You will be contacted by our team if you find yourself in this case.

We believe that this policy is necessary to ensure that our service remains fast and reliable for all users, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter.
