This problem is usually due a cache issue, the page is loaded in cache instead of a dynamic version with the editor.
Do you know what king of speed optimization you have on your website (a cache extension, a Varnish or Cloudflare caching system)?
You can try to disable it temporarily and try again? It will help to identify the issue.
