Hi, we have an extremely large wordpress magazine site that's translated into 12 languages. When we use, for example, the Google Translate API, we can easily blow through 100 million translated characters in a day. I've read your fair use policy, but am not completely clear on how the throttling works and if our site would be a fit for your product. Thanks

For your information, Linguise does offer Unlimited words translation (in total) for Large plan, but with a subject of Fair Usage Policy. Which Unlimited plan only allows you to translate up to 1 Millions per day (new translation) in daily basis.
If your daily translation more than 1 Millions, you may hit the "Throttle Limit" which will prevent you to translate new content, but you should be able to use the translation for the one already translated (with notes no changes in the translation we detect).
I'm not quite sure how Google Translate API works on your website, but in Linguise, we only translate it one time.
So if your website already translated, it won't count anymore as it's been saved on our Cloud database, unless you update the original content which will trigger re-translation for that content.
So, it will only count for "New translation" that's not yet translated.

VIP Plan for Higher Translation Needs
If your website requires a significantly higher translation volume, we offer a VIP Plan that increases resource allocation 10 times compared to the standard unlimited plan.

For your information, when the Throttle limit is exceeded:
This restriction is only temporary and resets daily. You need to wait until the limit is lifted after some time and once it's lifted the translation will continue as usual.
