Hi,
I love your plugin, it works very intuitively.
However, we in Germany sometimes have sentences that cannot be easily translated into English.
Is a chatgpt or deepl integration planned for a ki supported and increased translation quality?
Thank you very much and keep up the good work!
Marco
Hi Marco,
We are currently using Google cloud AI translation that offers instant AI translations of all your content and a great loading time performance. Indued, there are some specific idiomatic expressions that are not properly handled sometimes. We are currently working on implementing an AI "perfect-quality" translation package that will be trained to translate, have a large number of languages handled and is quite fast too (that's not the case of AI like ChatGPT).
I keep you posted when we have a release date, we will soon start the testing phase.
Cheers,
Ok, thank you very much for your feedback.
We work a lot with SEO Optimised blog articles, sometimes the translation quality is not as good as when ChatGPT or DeepL translate it.
Is there a way to export and import the translations? Then I could improve them as a batch in a system of my choice.
Thanks for your help!
Hi,
I'm sorry, we don't offer this possibility, the only solution you'll have for that is the live editor (edit translations from the frontend).
Cheers,
Technically, it would only be a ‘few lines of code’ to enable an export and import function... the live editor in particular only allows manual translations. However, we work with AI translation tools for over 1800 products.
Is such an export/import function planned on the roadmap?
By the way: our translation is currently no longer working, can you please check your tickets?
Thank you
Marco
I see, but we haven't done that because this precisely the purpose of the Linguise automatic translation (providing the automatic translation, your membership comes with a translation quota).
Cheers,
About the ticket, yes, we got it. We'll investigate that.
