Hi,

  1. Can your system automatically translate a joomla site that uses yootheme pro (page builder) ?
  2. If I have a third party component (DJ-Catalog2 (e-commerce)) to sell items online, will it be automatically translated?
  3. when my site will be ready in FR, how to know how many words will be counted in order to choose the right subscription
  4. what happens when the subscription expires?

thank's for your help

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

1. Yes sure, Linguise is already installed on websites that run Yootheme Pro
2. I know this one, yes sure it'll be translated unless you exclude it voluntarily using a rule
3. If you already have traffic, you can check the number of page indexed on Google Analytic or the Google Search Console and make a calculation
number of pages * 500 words. The other option if to use the trial, you have 1 month free and up to 600 000 words 😀
4. When the subscription expires the translations will stop to be served

Cheers,

I have a site with YooTheme Pro and Falang I have five languages that I use real life translators to produce content for. I'm looking into adding 4 more languages using automatic translations. That is where Linguise comes into the picture. Can I use if together with Falang, or is that impossible?

I am also using Mighty Sites to bind languages to specific domains, so that .com is in english, and .fr is French and so on.

Hi,

That is a quite complex configuration 🙂

I see 2 issues to that:

  • Currently, Linguise require one Joomla component installation per domain, if you have a multisite with multi-domain, you'll need to have a plan for each domain (the API key is attached to the domain).
  • Using several translation methods won't work properly because of the URL rewriting

For Yootheme pro, no problem, we have several websites with that configuration. One last note, in our experience all the users that have tried to use both translation method on the same website finally switched everything to the automatic translation because it's faster, less expensive and even the language edition is really quick from the frontend.

You can test with the 1-month free trial anyway 🙂

Cheers,

Hi,

Currently, we don't have an official demo translation website, though the Joomla component is exactly the same as the WordPress plugin you've seen here: https://demo.linguise.com/

We have large website like this one that are running Linguise translation with Joomla + YooTheme Pro: https://www.joomunited.com/

Hope it helps.

Cheers,
